Update - Enemy Interaction


in version 1.2, enemies now have basic ai programming, allowing them to follow the player. The enemies now pursue Skele-Tony. On collision, Skele-Tony's health decreases and the evil spirit disappears. The level currently contains two spawners that spawn five enemies. each. These spawners will eventually be set to spawn enemies only once the player has reached a particular part of the level. Enemies currently have an issue where they float towards the player scalp first, though this is not game-breaking and may stay in the final project as it looks cool.


Skele-Tony can now shoot fireballs from their staff. Fireballs are a medium-range attack that now destroy enemies.


New bugs have been found and dealt with. It was initially thought that Skele-Tony's collider was turning itself off at unpredictable times for unknown reasons. This caused the player to clip through the floor and fall into the void. It was found, however, that this was a bug in the fireball script. Skele-Tony turned out to be so powerful a wizard that their fireballs were capable of destroying the very world. If a fireball happened to hit the ground or walls colliders, the level would be destroyed, leaving only the sprites. This has been fixed.


Skele-Tony still has a problem where they get stuck on vertical walls, not falling as they should.
